You're a first-grade student. It doesn't matter whether you're a pureblood, half-blood or a muggleborn. You are on your way to Hogwarts. Your new home for the next couple of years (of course you can visit your family and friends during breaks). Once you arrived at Hogwarts, you'll be sorted into one of the following Houses:
Gryffindor - The House of Bravery
Hufflepuff - The House of Loyality
Ravenclaw - The House of Wisdom
and Slytherin - The House of Cunning Pride.
You will get to know other mages and witches. Make friends in your house or other houses. You will learn spells, do magic and maybe have your own very magical adventure. Many Clubs, Events, Tournaments, Matches are waiting for you, but also lots of work.
At the end of a school year the House Points, which you gather through good behaviour and good work in lessons, will be counted and the House with the most House Points will win the House Cup. And even you, as a member (here, we call you a "student") can collect House Points for your House (see Groups).
Amazing, isn't it? So pack your clothes, get on the Hogwarts-Express and start your magical journey to Hogwarts. We are looking forward to making magic with you.
